The first pre-forum workshops of World Youth Forum 2018 in Sharm El Sheikh were launched today.

Two workshops were held: “Agenda 2063, The Africa we Want” in Luxor Hall, while the Siwa Hall hosted the second workshop entitled “Empowering the Disabled towards a more Integrated World”.

A large number of young people and researchers from around the world took part in the sessions where they presented their views and proposals regarding Africa. The attendees expressed their enthusiasm to take part in any activities that would promote the African continent.

Agenda 2063 is conducted by a number of experienced experts, including Dr. Khalid Hanafi, a researcher at Al-Ahram, Dr. Ahmed Askar, Dr. Sally Farid, and Dr. Bassam Rizq Adly, while Ms. Amna El-Saei, Founder and Director of Helm Organization, conducted the workshop entitled “Empowering Persons with Disabilities Towards an Integrated World”.

The pre-forum workshops for will continue for two days with the aim of coming up with recommendations relevant to the topics which will be discussed at the sessions. It also aims at providing youth with an opportunity to exchange ideas.
