Youth for Reviving Humanity
The “Youth for Reviving Humanity” initiative, launched in response to escalating global challenges and conflicts, aimed to nurture a culture of peace, tolerance, and understanding among the world’s youth. It envisioned a world where peace conquered conflict and love triumphed over hate. The mission was to equip young people worldwide with the knowledge and empowerment needed to promote peace, aid conflict victims, and advocate for social justice. The initiative had four core objectives: promoting global peace through dialogue among cultures, supporting conflict victims regardless of background, empowering youth for leadership in conflict resolution, and fostering international collaborations. It organized various activities like workshops and interactive sessions led by experts in conflict resolution, human rights, and peace support. The initiative’s pinnacle event was held in Sharm El Sheikh from December 3-5, 2023.

Four editions of the WYF were held in 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2021. The forum aims to bring together young people from across the world, enabling them to engage in discussions on development issues, and send a message of peace from Egypt to the world. The UN Social and Economic Council has designated the WYF as an international platform to discuss youth issues and causes.
World Youth Forum 2023
The World Youth Forum 2023 launches a large package of development initiatives and projects, the WYF will not take place in its traditional annual format in the Red Sea city of Sharm El-Sheikh due to the recent successive global crises and their humanitarian and economic repercussions. Instead, the proceeds from sponsorship revenues will be directed towards implementing a package of important development initiatives and programs that have a direct impact on citizens and young people, both in Egypt and abroad, in cooperation with the forum’s international and local partners.
This move serves as a call to implement development instead of discussing ways to achieve it.
