• Intensive media coverage from the African and Arab countries in the AAYP
The first event of the Arab and African Youth Platform (AAYP) will be launched tomorrow, Saturday March 16, 2019, in Aswan, the capital of the African youth. The platform will be held for three days (16-18 March 2019) under the auspices if His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
Aswan is witnessing the arrival of the African and Arab delegations participating in the platform, whereas 1500 are taking part in the platform to discuss the challenges facing Africa and the Arab World.
It is worth mentioning that the platform is witnessing huge media coverage as it is deemed an event covering both the Arab and African regions.
About the AAYP
The platform will be held under the auspices of HE President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, President of the Republic of Egypt, for three days, from 16 to 18 March 2019, in the city of Aswan, the capital of African youth. It is considered one of the platforms of the World Youth Forum (WYF), which aims at providing the Egyptian and world youth with the opportunities to exchange ideas in all fields.
The platform agenda tackles a number of topics relevant to the Arab and African region, in light of Egypt’s chairmanship of the African Union in 2019. The activities ranges from discussions panels to workshops to roundtables, where the youth leaders and decision makers meet together to exchange ideas and to discuss the concerns and the interests of the youth in the Arab and African world.
The platform constitutes a number of cultural and entertaining events, whereas touristic tours will be held to the participants in the city of Aswan – Egypt’s gate to Africa.
